Why cannot we rise above the bible?

If you cannot rise above the bible, doesn't that show that God is not doing a very good job?

Answer:

The Bible is not just the black or white book which we seen around. Actually it is the word of God which means the words came out of God and it is Jesus Himself. To obey all the commandments of the Bible is the most important and essential thing to rise above the Bible. I think and I do believe that, it is not a 100% practicable thing for human beings. What we can do is to obey the Holy Spirit and to keep a good mentality with Jesus Christ.

To rise about the Jesus Christ is not a biblical thing. Bible says clearly in Matthew 10:25 that, "It is enough for the student to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master." Jesus is our only teacher and master. To desire to grow more than Jesus Christ is not good for a true Christian. It is also not practicable.

Many people teaches about ways to rise above Jesus by John 14:12, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." They are just teaching that we can perform greater things than Jesus and consider this as a way described in the Bible to rise above Jesus. Actually they are skipping the reason inside the same sentence which is, "because I am going to the Father."

Let me tell you dear friend. Satan once tried to rise above Jesus, and to seat in the throne of God. We all know what happened. God kicked him on the next moment from heaven for his wicked thought. Do not repeat the same mistake. Be happy with what you are now. Give thanks to God for that.
