Should a woman marry her rapist according to Deuteronomy 22:28-29? I am asking these to give help for the parents whose daughter is really the a victim of these. She is raped by a man and her parents are now trying to get her married with the same victim worrying about her future and all. But the girl is not willing to marry her and she is in the plans to file charges against him with the help of law.
She is also planning to abort the baby which is a result and she doesn't want to carry that child. I don't know why girls like her consider so simple to kill the children. we are trying to force her to the marriage now. We don't know what to do? Please help us take a decision regarding this matter.
And Bible also says to marry so in Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. So what should we do?

Bible says that in the Old testament, the law. By obeying the Old Testament, no people will be sanctified by their works. In these situation and in this time of New Testament it is better to think wisely. Thinking in such a way, according to my opinion it is not better for her or any one to marry the rapist.
First of all many people just think in only one way. They think no one will come forward to give her a life for the reason she got raped and they try to get her married with the same person who raped her. May be it also help the rapist to escape from his punishment. But only a few people are trying to think about the consequences of such a marriage which can be even result in a suicide or mental stage.
The main and most important thing is that he is a 'rapist' and no one can tell that he will not rape some another person in life which is left in front of him. A rapist is a criminal and most probably he should also have many other bad habits too. That can be anything serious like drug addiction, murder, molesting and so on. There are also chances and most probability he will repeat the same sin. And any such situation happened in their married life, it will make their married life an utter failure and will lead the situation to be more worse.
Second thing is to rape a girl is only possible with a cruel minded person. All people living in this world have temptations. If they don't even have a control over their own wicked thoughts, they can't be good in many other things along with it. If he marry that girl and got her as his wife., surely he will become more cruel and most probably he will abuse and torture her with many worst ways which will also lead the situation further worse. No one can tell with boldness that he will not utilize the situation when he have much freedom and right over her.
If she wished to charge on that man, let her charge. Better to forward things like this according to the law of that nation. It should also be righteous and pleasing in front of God.
And finally if there is a baby by these case. Try to make her love the baby with giving some counseling or so. We can't blame her for all that what was happened. Normally no person wont like to carry the child of a person whom he/she hates. And if she by no means allowing it. Beg her to give birth to that baby and let her parents or someone closer may take care of the baby.
