There are three instances from which we came from and three instances in which where we are going. In the first instance we came from eternity and will went back to eternity. In the second instance we came from heaven and return to heaven. We can begin from the soil, which means Earth, so that it may be more easy to understand. This deals much with our external body. Our whole body including organs, bones, cells, genes, nails, teeth and all are made by the soil in this earth. This body will decay to the soil again when we die. This particular period in our life is very short comparing to other instances such as period from heaven to heaven and eternity to eternity.
Second is the heaven to heaven. We were in the heaven, with God from the very moment after our spirit was created. Our spirit is from God and it is also created by God. At the time in which we are conceived, God send our spirit from heaven to our body the soil, which is inside the womb of the mother. After our death, our spirit is in a small time of rest. Then it will awake again by the second coming of Christ and will taken back to heaven and is before the rapture of the living. From that time onwards our spirit was with God in heaven again. There is not any limited time period for us in heaven. But the time which we spent in heaven is huge comparing to the time we spend in this earth. But we know that when we begin in heaven and when we will end in heaven or for simple, when our period in heaven began and when it end?. Our life starting from soil to soil is a small break in the period of heavenly life. Our period in heaven began with the beginning of Son of God and our heavenly periods end is with the end of Son of God.
Third and last is the eternity to eternity. Before we born in heaven, we were in eternity. That is with God or clearly, inside God. Eternity means for ever and ever. We came from eternity in the very beginning of our creation and we will return to eternity at the very end. Our life starting from heaven to heaven is a small break in the period of eternity. Eternity do not have a beginning and it do not have any end. God is eternal and He lives in eternity. We are in God in these time of eternity.
